How to use it

- Enter the round-trip travel cost per visit.
- Enter nights per visit, lodging per night (0 if you stay together) and daily spending.
- Read the yearly and monthly total.
How it works
The formula is visits × (round-trip travel + nights × (lodging per night + daily spending)). Use one currency for every field. Calls, gifts and visa costs are not included.
Tips
- Book flights early and avoid peak weeks.
- Take turns travelling, or meet halfway for variety.
- Set a “close the distance” date so the budget has an end point.
